ReplyDeleteWow! Tremendous amount of work! Great results. Have worked on many of the same formulas listed and the one thing I am learning is clay body is everything!! I use Standard 240 and 551 porcelain in the studio. Started testing Highwater and Tucker clay and it was shocking. True what they say about glazes don't always travel well from clay body to clay body.

Hi, I'm getting pin holes on 'some of my pots' using the raw sienna glaze recipe from 'Mastering...'. Just dumped out my mix and doing another to fix pots. Going to abandon this glaze. Will cutting down the 6%rutiel fix the problem? Cone 6 stoneware soaking 20 minutes withe Bartlet computer.
